Description:
ECINQ is an emergency contraceptive tablet containing 30 mg of ulipristal acetate. It is designed to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure. ECINQ works by inhibiting or delaying ovulation, thereby reducing the likelihood of pregnancy. It is most effective when taken as soon as possible after the event, preferably within 24 hours, but can be taken up to 120 hours (5 days) afterward.
